Baikal-Eco Rotary Club. The Baikal-Eco Rotary Club is situated in the historical area of Irkutsk, Russia (Siberia) near wellknown Lake Baikal. Lake Baikal was inducted into the World Natural Heritage UNESCO list in December 1996 due to its many natrual wonders. Baikal-Eco Rotary club was registered in June 2005, making it just under two years young. Despite of its youth, there are a number of projects which may be interesting for Rotarians around the world. Some of them are: A "12 step program" for drug addicted people who have a rehabilitation period; Building of the Great Baikal Trail; Reconstruction of "Pushkin park"; Annual "Health fair"; and "Micro lending" for the smallest businessmen. As well we would like to coordinate "Family Manor Village for Disabled Children" project and "Village school in Maloe Goloustnoe" and Family Hause projects on our own, we would like to invite you to get acquainted with them and if desired to take part in them!
