The following letter is from Igor Syriev, past president of the Magadan Rotary Club:

About the project “Child’s Home”

This is a unique project because of its implementation.

The project was completed by two organizations: Rotary Club of Magadan and Rotary Club.

Project’s total – US dollars – financial involvement by the Club Kihei Wailea, Hawaii, USA

Purpose – supply “Child’s Home” with children’s sleep suits.

This project is unique because the order for the sleep suits was placed to a trade school, where children are also taught.

The children, using the school’s equipment, saw the sleep suits for the other children!

They have completed the entire order of 515 sleep suits. Thank you girls. God bless you!

The trade school trains girls from families that are not affluent. When they found out, after the meeting with the project coordinator Syr’ev E.V., that the sleep suits will go to the “Child’s Home” they have refused to be paid for the work.

This is how the kindness of Rotary member’s souls passes on to children. Just for the sake of these kind souls, for the sake of help to the children one must be a Rotary member.

You should have seen the joy and tears in the eyes of the “Child’s Home” director and the property manager! This was a memorable moment. Girls from the trade school, who completed the work, received candy and presents from Syr’ev. I would like to pass sincere words of thanks to the members from the Kihei Wailea Rotary club, Hawaii for the financial support to complete this project.
